hi guys a reset my check engine today...and the engine light doesnt appear again..nice, but i used the decoder of the sings and tell me that the 10 - 5 means. EGRC Solenoid valve......and i no have any idea what is that??? any suggestion????????

ECU code 1005 is the EGR (Exhaust gas recirculation) control solenoid. It's an electronic part with 3 air valves coming out of it, located near the left, front cylinder head. Very easy and inexpensive part to replace. When I replaced mine, I only paid about $60.00 from Nissan. Much easier to gain access to it by removing the whole air filter assembly. Just remove all three hoses attached to it, and the one bolt holding it on the bracket and your done!
