STEELWOOL!?!?!?! Im sure your window is scratched to he11 now! There are different waxes out there that will take those off. The stuff I used to use was called fireglaze. If nothing else, just take it to a detail shop and they should be able to get it off. YOu just need to find a light compound.

I used to work in a detail shop and believe it or not you can polish your glasss with a buffer. Get your hands on a buffer/polisher and apply a good wax to the glass and use the same back and forth motion that you would use on your paint, be carefull not to get the buffer close to any plastic molding on the car, you will burn it and then the clean glass is worth nothing. Good luck.

I have a 97 SE with (what looks like) hard water or acid rain spots on the outside of the windows. Anyone know how to get this stuff off? I have tried razor blades, wax and even steel wool but nothing works. Any suggestions???
