KYB Dustboots for 95 GXE

I have inquired at KYB about Maxima application, and they said that there is no boot application for 95 Maxima. I would really appreciate if you can provide me with KYB application number for the front and back dustboots. Tirerack.com and tires.com say they don't have that info either. I have KONI/Eibach combo. Thanks.

nope, didnt have to cut anything. just put the dustboot on the strut piston while the compressors were still on the spring, assembled the top of the assembly, let the compressors out, and then worked my fingers inside the spring and pushed the top of the dustboot into place fitting itself where the OEM one was located.

i left the bottom un-ziptied until i torqued the main nut on the top of the assembly while it was in the car so the boot did not get twisted (the piston turns a little when the main nut is tightened) once that was all torqued down i zip-tied the bottom of the boot to the red bottom piston housing (where its detailed in the directions) and its been all good.

got KYB dustboots on my 96 GXE and fits fine. The rears are a 100% perfect fit. The front's do not snap into the upper mount, but fit snuggly on the piston shaft. I like them better than the OEM dustboots. Get them from Cattman. I don't think they are designed specifically for Maximas. That is why KYB does not list a specific application for our cars. But, they DO fit with no problems.

Do a search under my screen name. I wrote a long message about my experience with these dustboots that should answer your questions.

Thanks to everybody replied. I was able to find the part numbers. They are SB103 for the fronts and SB108 for the backs. BTW Cattman is backordered on them. Thanks again.

I used the KYB dust boots without any problems on my 97SE. You can see the pictures I took here:
http://www.bryanb.com/site/maxima/parts/parts.html

I took a picture next to a dollar for reference, people want to see how much of the bump stop was pre-cut with the KYB boots. Hope this helps out.

I just want tostay with mine.
Thanks

If your stocks are in good condition, yes, you can reuse them, and you will have to cut the bumpstops. You don't need to do this with KYB dustboots, they fit perfectly. From my experience, don't zip-tie them, use metal clamps from radiator hose, they keep it in place much better. My $.02.

if you're running eibachs and konis, why would you want KYB dust boots? That being said, heh heh, the dust boots SHOULD fit any 4th gen application.
