Who has an air bypass valve for there cold air intake?
I just installed PL cold air, and its been raining a lot so i am getting a bit nervous. So who has an air bypass valve on there intake, please tell me where you got it, how much-whatever just help me out. Because i know if you get any water up in your cilinders, your screwed! Thanx
what is PL.. Place Racing??
anyway.. I have had a PR cai for over a year and a half. I have driven in FL in a hurricane.. no seriously.. just pay attention to where your driving and you'll be fine.
Do not drive through standing water that is level with your underbody.. It is hard for water to get into the filter.. there should be a plastic guard on the underside of your motor that covers part of the road up
try www.nopi.com if you must get that filter

nobody has the aem bypass valve cuz i killed all the owners who bought them. I proceeded to take all the valves, threw them into a metal oil drum, and lit them up. They flared for about an hour (hey, I did a lot of killings, ok!) and then I had enuf plastic to start my own GIJoe factory.
Anyways, like bags533, be smart about where you drive and you will be ok. if you search, you'll see that you really don't need the valve..if you find that you do, you've probably got other problems (like a flooded cabin, water in tranny, etc.
