front struts

I tryed a search but, my computer is so sloooow I gave up. I'm looking to replace the front struts on my 95 GLE. What brand do you guys reccomend? Are they easy to install? If so, is there a procedure here? I'm not looking to spend allot and I don't need ultra performance, I try to save that for the Supra. Just need a good strut and really don't feel like getting ripped off by Sears or some other place.

Thanks...

For stock spring replacement, most people would tell you to go with either Tokico's or KYB GR2's....most near stock feel, and will run you less than OEM

Or try http://www.tirerack.com/. I just did mine and got them from tirerack. $72 each for the GR-2s.

Do all 4, not just the front. You'll wind up with different valving from front to rear and your car will not ride correctly. You should have the same mfg. of strut/shock or at least new units all around. If you replace the fronts and have OEM in the rear, you'll immediately feel how soft your a$$ is.
