Ok...here's the dilly..
The next thing i am going to do is lower my ride cause i hate that 3 foot wheel gap. I need some suggestions and prices...
Is it a bad idea to lower the ride with stock tires and wheels. cause i can't afford them right now..
What springs should i use and where can i order them.
How much is this all going to cose including labor..or can this be done at home...
Need some help with this one!!1
Thanks all!!

whoa man
there are alot of discussions on this topic...
look on the top right of the screen and click "search",
then a few good topics to search would be "eibach" "h&r" "intrax" "tokiko" and "koni".
But here are a few quick answers:
Springs should cost around $200 to $250 (complete set of 4).
Struts/shocks around $70 to $140 each (my Konis were $450 for all 4)
Installation should take you about 6-12 hours, depending on your skill and if you have a buddy to help you out.
If you take it somewhere, they should be able to do it in 1 or 2 days, around $200 or $300 (more if you get Konis because they have to literally gut the front struts to put in the Koni cartridges)
It is perfectly fine to keep your stock rims, but your stock tires need to *GO*. Not because of the springs/shocks, but because the stock rubber *SUCKS*. I just put Bridgestone RE730's on my '99 and they are incredible, insane grip in corners!
Got all my stuff at http://www.tirerack.com, and they delivered directly to a local shop of my choosing.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the Info...
I guess i was just trying to figure out what everyone's opinion was on the different setups for lowering their whips. Can people post some picks of some rides that are lowered. What is a good distance to lower the ride 1.25...1.5".. Just wondering..Thanks all

Drop the car for $50 and it will be as low as it can go
You can take off the springs and be literally on the ground, heat the springs and bounce your way to your destination as your new tires wear out in a week.
Or you can follow the directions of Doug on the previous post and use a sensible suspension upgrade. I recommend using one of the methods doug described and only told you of the other two for economical reasons, j/k on the above, I knew a guy who heated his springs and it rode like a tank and he had to replace tires every six months.
Good Luck!!
