HELP!! clutch probem

I have 1995 se and i cant get the car into gears most of the time. if the engine is off the the car will get into gear fine no problems. but when the engine is on i have a real tough problem getting into any gears. also this morning when i tried i stepped on the clutch pedal and it sort of stayed there for a while before releasing. when i can get it into gear the car runs fine no slipping. PLEASE any suggestions will help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check your clutch master cylinder fluid level, it may be low causing the clutch to not be pushed in all the way.

1. check your clutch reservoir

2. if it is empty you probably have a lick somewhere;
if it is full, then all you need to do is bleed the clutch: $2-5 fix if you do it yourself

3. if it is empty, your hydraulic hose probably went out: $60 fix if you do it yourself

check out

http://motorvate.ca/

go to left side under Transmission to find how to bleed clutch and/or replace hydraulic hose
