New Pics -- '97 SE w/ 2k2 Wheels!

I finally had a chance to wash my car and take a few pics just as the sun was setting tonight.

The car is back to stock height with one coil cut off the front springs, and it is now riding on 17" 2002 Maxima SE 6-spoke Wheels. It rides so nice compared to the Sprints, but I do miss the slammed look. Anyway, my Maxima is ready for winter! If I lower it again, it'll probably be H&Rs, just for a change. Pretty soon, I'll be an expert on Springs since I've already had GC Coils, Sprints, and will possibly have H&Rs in the Spring.

Anyway, here's the pics:

I paid $800 for them, which is a great price considering the condition they were in. The guy must've taken them RIGHT off his car because they still had the hairs on the tires when I picked them up. They also had the red dots on the sidewall and red, yellow, and blue lines in the tread. The rims don't have a mark on them, so I think I got a good deal. Unfortunately, the tires suck! Oh well...I'm trying to sell my stock SE wheels to make up for some of the cost of the new wheels.

gtr_rider...I sold the Konigs back when I thought I was getting Mille Miglia Evo5s. I then had to do repairs, and decided to go for a more subtle wheels -- hence 2k2 SE wheels.

Sil...Yep! OEM Bridgestone Potenza RE92 (they suck!). I recommend getting 225/45/17 tires if you replace them because then your speedo won't be as off. Mine is 2.2% too slow right now (so when I'm going 60, I'm really traveling ~62mph). I don't like these tires in the rain at all. I've felt my car start to hydroplane but was able to catch it before I spun out. This happened a couple of times -- always in the same spot, so could've been the road.
