Car has a hard time starting
Ok, here is the problem with my 96 SE. When the temperature goes belpw 40 degrees and the car sits overnight or all day while at work it is difficult to start the car without it stalling. To start the car and keep it from stalling I have to give it gas. Basically it seems like the ECU doesn't know to give it gas to let it idle when cold. Again this only happens in cold temperatures and the car has sat for several hours.
Thanks for the help.

A few things to check regarding starting and idling issues.
1) Clean your throttle body. www.motorvate.ca has instructions and pictures.
2) Your Engine Coolant Temp sensor may be out of spec.
3) There is a plunger on the throttle body which kicks up your idle speed when the car is cold. It's located down under the throttle body by the linkage assembly. That plunger should come out when the car is cold and press up against the fast idle cam. If your not getting a proper cold idle speed, that plunger may not be working correctly. There is also an adjustment screw for the fast idle cam.
