low end torque for auto(long)
low end torque for auto(long)
I have modded my engine so many different times in the last couple months that I'm gettin really angry. Unfortunately I had to get rid of my y-pipe because of the complaints about my muffler sound and I opted for the muffler instead cuz of the cool sound but now i'm having regrets. The HAI setup is not working for me. My car used to be respected by the rice rockets around my school. Now I'm afraid to race cuz my startups feel weak now. I put the stock airbox back in and immediately felt the low-end difference but now maybe my intake isnt that high flowing anymore. Can someone tell me a remedy for auto cars where i can retain the low-end power with the cool sound. I saw the dynos for the injen on some1's post and they were dissapointing. I'm not too hot on the idea of the CAI because although it doesnt rain much in so cali, i dun want the chance of gettin water sucked up my filter. Is there a bypass valve available for the place racing?
thanks
thanks
You can get a CAI, but i drove in a car with CAI, and seirously wasnt all that impressed...and that car was more modded than mine....when you refer to HAI, has hot air intake, and NOT hybrid air intake, try running a Hybrid setup...If you were running hybrid, try the CAI i guess....that i know of, PR doesn't make a bypass valve, but you can use AEM's (i believe)
