painting inside of headlight...

hi there!

I think I want to paint the inside of my headlights to
make them look more like projectors...I've heard of people
doing this, and my questions are:

How much of the reflector did you paint?
Does anyone have pics of their headlights?
Did you paint it your body color or black?

Thanks y'all! When I do it, there'll be pics!

Definatly paint them black, and you should only paint the outer part of the reflector. youll notice when you take your lights apart that there is a bowl like reflector, thats the part you DONT want to paint. but everything to the outside that bowl can be painted.. if you run a search on anniversary style head lights you should be able to find directions and pics... good luck and post pics when your done

hi...and Thank You for the commments...some thoughts:

1) Black...OK...I thought that maybe body color would be OK?
2) I understand NOT to paint that bowl...but, do I paint ONLY
the "walls" of the reflective surface, or part of the "floor"
as well (it would be the floor under the painted wall)?
3) I search for AE headlights and didn't find anything...
maybe I should check the 5th gen forum.

THANKS!
