You're not going to win. I personally drive a 5-speed Maxima and my friend has a WS6 with Ram Air. His car is much faster even without considering that it has almost 100lbs+ torque. If you'd like to do some further research, a 0-60 for a WS6 w/o Ram Air is roughly 5.5 seconds. With a Ram Air, I'm sure it's going to be a little faster. A stock Maxima's 0-60 is around 6.6 seconds and an intake alone is not going to take an entire second off your time.

you are looking at the 3.8L V-6 that is in the firebird. that is not the same engine that is in the trans am WS6 model. if your friend has a WS6, then he has a 5.7L V-8.
These are F bodies, not G bodies.
if you can't understand this, you might have trouble making it to the finish like of the 1/4 mile track.
you confused a maxima's stats with a trans ams, which just displays the degree of stupidity you bring to this forum.

This whole thread is hilarious. It's almost like a psychology experiment. DaveGrun is the quintessential troll. The WS6 is so underrated, actually all z28/SS's and formula/TA's are underrated. Chevy wants to make the Vette seem much more powerful. But when you start seeing three-digit speeds the Vette will say bye-bye.

When this BBS started 5 years ago, we gathered here for technical information about cars (mainly maintenance). Now the BBS has turned into "check out my Altezas" and "I just burned a M3." All the moldy oldies here will know exactly what I mean. I still like the BBS, its just not what it used to be.
