Need Help with Tails

I know, I know, I got altezzas, they're rice, or whatever. But i got in a fender bender, and the altezzas were cheaper than buying new stock tails. So i got the altezzas, and realize that chrome altezzas are a bit too much on my black max. I want to do the skyline painting, but I don't want to paint the outside of the lens. What's the easiest way of getting the plastic off the taillight? Thanks for help.

im guessing it would be the same way as taking off the lenses on the stock tails. either put it in the oven, or use a heatgun/hairdryer to heat up the glue and carefully pry it off without bending it.

Yeah it should work the same way as cleaning the headlamps. Use a hair dryer or heat gun and heat up the glue seal and then see if you can get the cover off. Just make sure not to melt the plastic. And hey if it does not work go on ebay and get you some new ones for 150 bucks.
