exhaust problem...need help.

I finaly finished my exhaust setup.

Budget Y-Pipe->stock CAT->Stillen SS B-Pipe->SS Hanabi NT2004 Muffler.

The exhaust sounded good I thought with the stock muffler but after putting on the Hanabi muffler my car is loud as hell. I can't enjoy my music anymore. When i put on the silencer it sounds really good inside the car but on the outside it sounds like a farty civic then without the silencer it sounds fairly good but too loud. I bought it from Maxximum Tuning Group deal a while back. Anyone else bought the muffler? I need some help, can I expect it to be loud from any aftermarket muffler if so is the stock muffler the best choice? The nissan muffler is like 40 pounds compared to the Hanabi SS which is only like 10 pounds. Thanks, David.

Well personally i dont like that muffler. I have had a greddy and borla and i now prefer the borla. You can only just turn up your music. Any aftermarket muffler is going to increase the volume. Find one that you can deal with or just keep the one you have.

Is it loud inside the car? My car sounds fine with the setup and the muffler w/o silencer. The problem is that its loud and clogs my ears up. I would switch mufflers only if it won't be that loud inside the car.

just an idea....you could try dynamating your floor and trunk, that could reduce the noise inside.
