Tranny or engine... weird problem

Last night I was on my way home and my car started acting kinda funny. Now, last night was the coldest night in Dallas in a long time and I've barely owned the car for two months now. I was doing approx 60 mph down the highway and all of the sudden the car starts to sputter somewhat. It almost seemed like the engine was stalling or somethin. When I finally got to a stop light, it was idling much lower than normal. I decided to not freak out about it immediatly and just see what happens this morning, and this morning the car ran just like it always had before. Was this some weird fluke, or is my car dying or what...? Any and all help is more than welcomed.

Thanks guys,
BlueBOB

I hadn't thought about fuel injectors, I'll try that tomorrow. We hooked up my car to a Nissan console this weekend and the numbers came out next to perfect. PLUS, I dyno'ed my car this weekend and my air/fuel mixture was next to perfect .

It was around 40 degrees. Now don't forget that this is in Dallas where it was around 70 all this past week. This is the coldest it has been this fall/winter.

That rules out what I was thinking.

I'm gonna pick up some fuel injector cleanor tonight and put it when the next time I fill up. My gas mileage has been around 21mpg lately and fairly consistant too. It would be nice if that number could go up.
