Hello everybody

I was looking at the www.directcarparts.net and saw the GReddy Street Performance Cat-Back for my 98 SE for only $566+Free ship, however, I also saw the Bomz Racing Mufflers for only $90!

I am just wondering should I go to 99cents burger everyday and save the money for the GReddy, or should I find a good muffler shop and custom make me a 3 in (or 2.5in) Cat-back with the Bomz Racing GT-Spec, side exhaust style?

Bomz -

Help... please...

you wont get any power gains using just the bomz muffler. the greddy catback will yield you about 5-10HP at the wheels. if you like, you can purchase the muffler and have a custom b-pipe made for you and it will be pretty much the same

that's the setup i have, not a bomz muffler, but a custom catback with a custom b-pipe and muffler...nice sound and the muffler has the same shape as these BOMZ mufflers...

You can get the Greddy SP for cheaper than that. Check out www.aieonline.com. I believe they have free shipping right now. Also www.Southwestautoworks.com has them for $499 + shipping. Although they told me they are backorderd right now.

Personally, I know nothing about the BOMZ muffler but I do have a GReddy. I love the subtle sound it gives at low RPMs and the scream it gives at high. And coupled with a VI, it's really sweet. I'd recommend it .
