What is a better starter?!

I am in need of a starter and possibly a new crank pulley. I know that CVR make the best starters for like size and lightness but I am curious if there are any recommended specifically for the Maxima. Any advice will be appreciated!

Whichever starter you get, paint it yellow or put yellow strips or some GTR badges on it to start faster!!!

I was perfectly content with my rebuilt Nissan starter bought fromt he dealer.

Does the weight matter?

I am sure you would notice nothing as far as the weight difference goes performance wise.

Specify you want the 10-tooth design, not the original 8-tooth design. The 8 was flawed & replaced by Nissan with the 10.

Some companies still specify the OEM 8-tooth design for your car. It is to be avoided!
