Fuel Pump Cut-off switch idea?
Im looking at a alarm for my car and everything ive seen makes them sound useless. What im wondering is, if its possible to hook the fuel pump and fuse up to a hidden switch so that if the switch isnt on, car wont go far. Seems more convienient to flip a switch that only i know where it is then mess with the fuse in the dark. Is it possible??

Otherwise, you will have to locate the individual pump wire among the bunch of wires headed into the insulation from the fuse panel. This seems like it would be much more difficult. With the panel away from the dash, you can at least follow the wire from the pump fuse, regardless of where you decide to tap into it.
I think this is a good idea.
