This clutch decent??

Does anyone know if Exedy clutchs are good for our cars. I saw the
clutch kit on ebay for around $110. Any experience with them?
Comparable to OEM?(better/worse?)

Dunno. Never heard of it. General concensus here is that the ACT Street clutch is the way to go for our cars.

Exedy clutches are excellent, but last I checked they didn't make a clutch for the Maxima. Maybe they do now.

i put the "ebay clutch kit" in my 95 that i sold....it was a decent kit for the price and all the parts fit just fine, but I also knew i was selling the car.

I don't think it will hold up to ANY prolinged abuse though. I got on it a few times from a start and it seemed like it may have glazed over a little.

I recall the auction called it a valeo clutch disc/pressure plate with SKF bearing. I kinda *****ed that it showed up and was an excedy, with an NTN bearing (NTN is still pretty big), and their excuse was that excedy was a subsidiary of valeo and the parts are the same thing. It also chattered a little for me, even though I had the flywheel resurfaced.

I might look into discount OEM suppliers if the aftermarket performance stuff is too pricey.

My ebay "valeo" clutch was shipped as a "Coscom" clutch.... it's sucks. my Stock maxima clutch lasted 140K miles. the new clutch sucks at 5K... I want my old clutch back...

Id go for the ACT, thats what I got , the exedy clutch is basicly a stock clutch if not worse. If you plan on driving slow and normal than you could use the exedy, but i dont think it will handle nos or any extra power.
