alright, this snow is starting to be a PITA. I was trying to dig out my car earlier and I had to move it back a bit to make way for all the snow that I plowed. Long story short, I banged the driver side door again a metal bar that dented the lip of the driver side door. The freaking Nissan Paint is atrocious--nonetheless, the paint cracked...here the my question--when they fix the side there, do they need to repaint the entire door?
looks like I have a few questions(not just one) heheh
what is a good body shop in the NYC area--that is good but is resonably priced.

I was also looking to have the front bumper painted (too many rock chips)--does anyone know a price for the door and bumper?

There are a few door dings also--does that require a door to be painted also?

it hurts...it hurts...to see that dent there...

thanks guys.

if you are looking to just paint the bumper without sanding it down then you are looking at about 70-95 bucks..however, without sanding the original paint down and applying new paint the paint will chip off in a few months. If you do want to do a complete paint with the sanding then you are looking at about 250...if the dent on your door is big then to fix the dent and paint will be about the same price..I know a body shop in flushing and if you do both your bumper and the door there then they will definately give you a good price..the place is called Kings Automotive they recently renamed it to Hi-Tek automotive. It's across from the UHAUL place on College Pt Blvd.

Racer--

Thanks for the response and tip.

How are their service? are they pretty good with the work that they do? have you gone to them by chance? I think I know where you are referring to--across from the UHAUL center, there are a few auto places, right?

by chance, do you know who to ask for over there? I am not going to do any work in the winter, but certain when the weather warms up, I am going to go find a place to have it done.

thanks--hope you have a good new year.

CA body shops NY?

Good service is hard to come by w/o paying a little under the table. I had experiences before which I said i should have spent a little more $$. Now days, a lil more $$= better results. http://nizmolee.freeyellow.com its my CaR
