CAI or Exhaust on auto
CAI or Exhaust on auto
I have a friend who is gettin a used 2000 v6 auto accord. He wont believe me that a CAI would give better gains for his car. He just goes by the convoluted logic of the riceboys claiming exhausts like a greddy or something would give him 10-12 hp. He cant get both because it'll be too loud and make his parents angry. Tell me which one you guys would prefer in a maxima point of view: CAI or Cat-Back Exhaust so I can prove it to him
Well, you friend is getting a Honda...I won't be surprised that he gets an exhaust as his first mod. The CAI is not only quieter, but will yeild a little more HP. Your friend will be lucky if he even gains 1hp out of an exhaust. Have you seen V6 accords with two big a$$ greedy evos? It looks so nasty, does not go with the look of the car at all. Neither do body kits and pearl paint jobs on the accord
Remember...the louder and bigger your exhaust is, the faster your car is. Also, don't beleve it when people tell you there is "no replacement for displacement." They are wrong, its called VTEC. Just the other day, I saw a Prelude pull on a M5 when Vtec kicked in after 90mph+.
