My friend has a new Eclipse and swore he could beat me, so we where messin round on tha road one night and then i notice he wants to race .. so i puch it.( i hav a CAI intake) and he pulled a little for like 5 seconds, but then i as gonnnnnnnnneeeeeeee... i laughed in his face

 

Raced 97 eclipse auto with big dual tip. It was a joke, We did it from 0-70. I had about 3 car length from 30-70. Later I get in to his eclipse and test drove it. It's a slow *** ****. But if it was GSX, it would be different story. My friends 90 eclipse ran 12.87 on 1/4 mile track. I wouldn't mess with that car. Some eclipse/eagle runs low 10's even high 9's.. Now that's really impressive

Are you Auto or 5spd?And was he auto or 5 spd and was the eclipse a 4banger or a V6?Because if he has a V6 with a 5spd and your 5spd it would be a close race,but if your 5spd and he has a V6 auto it would be a pretty easy victory,but if your auto and you try to race a 5spd V6 Eclipse you will lose pretty bad with your mods.So what was it?
