PLEASE HELP!!! IS My TRANNY BADDDD!!!

OK I Have a Problem.....I Am Located in Ct. and these past few days have been Crappy cause of the snow, and its been really slippery out and of course my tires have been spinning like crazy!!!

But ANYWAYS To get to the Point, if i slow down my max...say at a light or a stop sign, and then take off, my max sounds like its in neutral, and then takes off....it like accelerates and then goes, and then makes a slight jerk!! It is like this in 1st 2nd and drive. So i was wondering, since these past few days have gone by, and i have spun my tires alot....(Not Being An ***) but my tranny feels like it is slipping or something...i dont know much, but COULD IT Be....I Mean My Max Is a 1999, with 48k on it....HARDLY EVER BEAT ON IT! But since of the snow the tires have been spinning alot, and i wonder because of this did i F**K My Tranny up, and is there any warranty from the factory!? PLEASE LET ME KNow!

Have you checked the tranny fluid level/color? If it's not red. more toward black its gone rebuild/replace.
Your max should have warranty if you bought the car new from a dealership eventhough your 3/36k reg. I think powertrain is covered for a bit longer, you would have to check with dealer.
Spinning tires in snow wouldn't effect the tranny that much unless your high revving all the time which i doubt since its snow and you have to ease into it for traction.Your front axle and cv boots/joints would take a harder beating by spinning the tires. It seems like your synchros probably took a dive.for some reason though.

There should be a 5 year/60,000 Drivetrain warranty through Nissan, regardless of whether you bought it new or used. I would take it to the dealer. Good luck.

For real? So if I buy a used max that is like a 99 and has <60,000 it will have a warranty? That would be cool. When I bought my Honda Si used, it had a 7 year/100,000 mile warranty starting from my purchase Its was a Honda certified used car though.
