I will be installing a system in my car next week and was wondering what the easiest way to shut off the trunk button was? Maybe just cut the wires? Anyone got any ideas...thanx.

In your trunk there is a little switch that you can flip. That way you can only open you trunk with the key. The switch is beside the latch that closes the trunk.

All you have to do is go to the little fuse panel on the left hand side under your steering wheel. Look on the cover of the fuse panel, and it will have a fuse for 'trunk release.' Find that fuse and just pull it out. With that one little fuse out it is impossible to access the trunk without the key. That is what I did to mine the day I dropped my system in. Let me know if you have any other questions about it.

Sounds like a good idea, but with the fuse out will the trunk open with the remote?
