Some good 300ZX caliper info.....

This is some general caliper info...not maxima swap specific.

Im going to do this conversion so I'm looking for all info.

I thought this would help explain the difference in the aluminum and iron calipers.....rotor thickness.....etc

ZX Calipers on a G20:

Basically some good pics of the calipers and stuff....

Part #'s

Cheston's site has a write up as well.....

http://www.maximadriver.com/

PDM Racing.....Mostly for 240/Sylvia 300ZX brake coversion.....but you could buy the necessary parts here too I suppose.

http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/brakesz32.html

Another page..........its a Sylvia.........but again more info and good part numbers......There is also a link on this page detailing how to change out the pads on 300ZX calipers......

http://www.importcargarage.com/kings...gar/brakes.htm

Link to change pads.....

Courtesy Nissans Z32 Brake parts page....

Here is a page detailing the 3000 GT VR-4 12.?? inch Rotor upgrade that can be done to ZX's........which will work on a Maxima as well. (providing you have wheel clearance for the larger diameter setup) Seems like alot of money for two brackets and some bolts and washers....

Hopefully these kind folks dont get PO'd at me whorin they're links!

From what I understand our calipers use the banjo style fitting which will work with the 300ZX calipers......but Ive read a couple of places that using actual 300ZX lines is better. They actually have a flared fitting that threads right into the caliper.

Hehe.....I read that too.......That'd be sweet if he did. 3000GT rotors would be cool.....I'm trying to stay as stock/sleeper/stealth looking as I can. They might could be crammed under 16's
