I recently bought a pair of 16 inch Kosei K1s from another .org member. The 5 lug K1s are apparently rather rare and hard if not impossible to find a pair of centercaps. I called tirerack and a few other wheel shops. The people at tirerack.com said that they could get center caps for the standard 4 lug Kosei K1s however he didnt have and that fit the 5 lug ones.
The main reason I am looking for center caps is to cover up the exposed "wheel bearing cover"(???) My rear assemblies have what I think are called dust covers and I was wondering if it is strange that mine only have these on the rear and not the front as well. Also, maybe I could get another pair for the front....?? Im going to consult a few dealer shops on this dilemna but I much prefer to ask you guys...even if I do get flamed
I think that the guy I talked to at tire rack assumed that I wanted to cover up the entire hole that encompasses the lug nuts, when all I really need to cover up is the part of the wheel assembly that sticks out of the smaller hole in the middle of the lugs.
