Emissions w/ aftermarket Y-Pipe

the description of the cattman y-pipe says "Y-pipes eliminate factory-installed “pre-cats”.Primary catalytic converter remains in place and functioning normally." does this mean if i install this on my maxima i will pass emissions?do all of the people on the site that have y-pipes (which is a lot) not pass emissions or what is going on!??!?!

thanks

there are two cats on the max underneath, two types rather...

precats (removed when installing aftermarket y-pipe like cattman's)

main cat (removed when installing a straight pipe or test pipe)

if u still have main cat, you will pass emissions ONLY if you let car sit for a while before going to test. Car has to be fully warmed up before going for test, otherwise, something happens (dont' know scientific way to explain it) and u fail...if u take out main cat, you won't pass period, unless u put it back on when that time comes, which i plan to do
