acceleration is slowly getting better

small update to all, took the max to Valvoline oil change earlier today & did a durablend (semi-synthetic) oil change. Also filled it w/ Mobil 93 (the good stuff), glad to say the acceleration is improving slowly but surely, will put some fuel system cleaner tomorrow,

Oil Change place says I need the following done soon...
- Cooling system flush
- Tranny flush (auto. tranny)

i'll keep u guys updated on the max's "recovery"

For the same price, the ppl at Valvoline Oil Change offered me a max-life oil change for the same price as durablend, but did the durablend instead

? - they say its designed for high-mileage cars, but have you guys tried any of that max-life stuff and does it work well?

Junk...nothing but the real thing in my engine....There are a few people that are oil technology wiz's, which I am not claiming to be... but I have seen what that high milage crap did to my buddies domestic engine...and nope, I'll stick to what I know is good for the engine.

For my baby, all I do is run 93 oct all the time, change the oil every 4k miles, and change the trans fluid every 15k and she runs like a champ.

However, after the last oil change and trans fluid change she seems to be running smoother.
