light bulb question

Hello, I have 1998 GXE and don't think that its bulbs are powerfull enough. The manual says wattage 65/45 and bulb # 9004.
I don't need a cool blue color, I just want to have a better lights.
Can someone suggest wattage and brand that will provide me what I want?

Thank you.

People seem to like the Sylvania Superstars I think they're called. Try to match up the wattages otherwise you risk melting the stock harness if you try to run too much current through it. I think they have a slight blue tint but nothing ricey.

I have the Sylvania Siver Stars and they are a lot brighter than stock. They have a very slight tint of blueif any, but your visibility at night is incredible without destroying your harnesses.

I just bought these krypton headlight bulbs off of ebay and they are pretty nice. A good white light with a slight purple and blue tone. They are much better than the stock lights. What ever you do don't get sylvania cool blues they are sucky.
And I got it all for $20. Just a suggestion anyway.

Get either Philips Bluevision, Sylvania Cool Blue (same bulbs I think), or the Silverstars.

cant really compare those..the silver stars are wayy brigter but also alot priceir..new the silverstars are about 20-25 a bulb..they are sold seperatly..worth it though.u get piaa brightness at fraction of price.. its a nice color...jsut really bright white light..and when ur close enough u get a hint of a blueish tint...cool blues are very whack.and not very bright at all..id go with the silver stars.. dont think you will need a wire harness for them..and has anyoen of the org really ever fried their wire harnness with 9004 bulbs?..doesnt seem very logical of happenign..

I have the Sylvania Silverstars and really like them. Mater of fact I like them so much I am going to put them in my van as well. They have a rebate offer going on now so your cost will be lower. Check out web site www.sylvania.com
