Sunroof sticking...
My sunroof cannot close without me pulling a little bit on it. I have seen the thread about "rebuilding" the sunroof, but I'm wondering if it is always necessary, or can it simply be an issue with lubrication?
Any experience dealing with this?
Thanks

It could be something as simple as a lubrication issue.
When I first tried out the sunroof of my Max at the dealer, the sunroof would occasionally catch and not close. Some lube and it did the trick. I suppose there's no harm in trying, just don't make a mess on your interior.
The rebuild kit is primarily for those who have broken drive cables, or guide parts. If it has neither, you shouldn't need to rebuild it.
Deezo was the one who first enlightened us on the sunroof kit. Search for sunroof by deezo, you'll definitely find the write-up and thread if you're interested.
p.s; Don't force the sunroof, hate for you to break something or bend the guide.
