is this for a non-maxima tranny? www.summitracing.com has a ton of shift kits for GM trannys.

Don's Valve-body mod is essentially a shift kit.

Trans-go makes a shift kit for our trannies. Don't know where to get them because I got mine thru my tranny shop, so I suspect it's not terribly difficult to find.

BTW, the shift kit for our trannys really sucks. It does nothing that can be felt, so really if you are doing it as a test in which you will be graded on performance.....watch out.

Don's VB mod is a recalibration of a stock VB. It is a difference from night to day performance wise compared to the shift kit.

Then save your money all together and try a different project because the "shift" kit is not worth very much.
