Hey max experts, I have heard great things about beefing up a max with a s/c. Is there a lot to it in regards to having to do other engine mods to make the whole system work together?. Am I sacrificing engine life with one of these installed? I don't really race people - just an eager kid in a honda or neon on occasion at stop lights. And for those who have a s/c, do you always have to mess around with it once it's in? I am not a mechanic like some of you so I was hoping it is relatively hassle-free to have one of these in my car. My best friend is eager to install one (although he is a Honda guy, he is psyched to do this for me!).

Never mind...I just read some posts that pretty much answered my question.

OK then, my next question is for those of you with superchargers...do your cars have the usual s/c whine and if so, does the noise get old? I am looking forward to tax return money and want add some mods. Are there any of you with s/c's in the St. Louis area?
