has anyone installed an LCD in place of their Bose HU?
has anyone installed an LCD in place of their Bose HU?
WOW -- it looks SO tight
I wanted to know what people thought about their screen...
Does it look flush? ...like it was from the factory?
How hard was the install? ...was making it look stock hard?
What are you using the LCD for? ...games? watch TV? play DVDs?
thanks all!
If it's not too hard (or expensive) then I am DOWN...it looks so sick!

Basically, I saw the group deal presented by RedMax (methinks) and
DAMN it looks good...so, I wanted folks to express their experiences
with the the LCD...

in dash screen.
I didi an install in a 97 maxima several months ago like this. I molded in a 7" alpine monitor where the double din HU was. You could not tell it was not factory, there was no line around the monitor, since it was molded into the dash. I then installed an Eclipse indash cd/dvd player where the flipdown pocket went. very nice looking install.
