Thinking about selling my awesome 96 5sp Maxima SE for a G35 Sport Coupe 6sp . Any thoughts?

If you trade for that cool, but I don't think you'll get much for your maxima. It's really a decision of a more powerful car and a payment, or continue modding your car, which still costs money.

If it's really worth the payments for you I say do it.
If you're happy with your max but want something better stay with the max.
I wouldn't do it if I called my max awesome.

Personally I don't even think I would make the same decision if I made like, up to 35k-ish a year. But then again I try my hardest to be frugal. You just never know what can happen, especially in today's economy. Take it from a guy that went into his cool, steady corporate job one day to get laid off in the quickest 15 minutes ever.

I plan on buy a used G35 Coupe 6MT someday but I doubt I'll end up getting rid of the max. but if your wallet permits and it is what you wish then go for it.

 

I think the G35 Sport Coupe with the Aero pkg looks better than the Z? What are other people's opinions.

I think I'm going to keep my Max b/c its worth more to me than some other schmo that buys it.

I am also going to get the G35...Will post again when I have it in the next few weeks. Wonder what mods will get that car to 300HP?

 

I like the G35 more also. 300HP? screw that I'd be fine with the engine stock. I'd lower it put the aero kit on it and leave it with the stock 18' wheels.

 

I got the G35 Coupe last week. Simply awesome. I can't wait until 1200 miles is up so I can open it up.

Also kept my Maxima...
