Clear Corner keeps falling out...

This has happened about three times now. When I accelerate fast to get onto the highway, the driverside corner pops out. Any ideas on how to stop this?

There's a way to bolt those on. Some people have done it to prevent their daimond clears from being stolen.

try a search for 'bolt on clear corners' or something like that..

Same thing happened to me all the time, and at 130, with the clear corner popping out and big sound coming from my left wheel is not something i want to hear....anyways, i told this to a fellow org member, and he asked me if i had a flathead and philips, and like 20 seconds later, I had a perfect fitting clear corner....I have no idea what he did, but I think he took out the plastic thing that the clear corner sets into, and pulled it back out, because i think after a while it gets pushed back in....So far, no complaints....130mph+ and not a pop

Thats no big deal, same thing was happening to me. All I did was wrap some double sided tape around the ball socket that pops into the bumper, it was thick enough that you need to sorta squeeze it in there. Now if I wanna take the light out, it takes more constant pressure from a screwdriver or your favorite prying tool, and not just the initial "pop". It has lasted through many car washes, rain storms and fast driving on bumpy roads, so im pretty sure its not going anywhere unless I want it to

i had the same problem on an old set of clear corners (they got stolen)

you musta got a bad cut

i put some cement glue and crazy glue in the pin socket thingie that gets pushed into the bumper for a better grip

supposedly, you can unscrew the Ball part of the ball and socket piece and find a screw that will match the thread. Then take the plastic socket piece out and take your new screw with the washer already on it (washer has to be bigger than the hole that the socket piece sat in), and from the bottom of the car (requires getting past the splash shield and feed the screw through that hole and into the clear corner. This will keep people from stealing them too. This is all in the writeup on Maximadriver.com too.
