TB cable tighter?

my buddy has an accord he tightned the TB cable and he said his throtle response is great now. and i wittnessed him spin his tires from a stop, 30 roll, 45 roll, and 60 roll! and the 60 roll he left rubber at least 2.5 feet long! would tightning the cables on the max do something similar? he also adjusted the butterfly plate to be completly horizontal during WOT, but wouldnt this mess up my idle cause it would idle at a different posisition than normal??

an older one like early 90, 2 door, and no it was not even wet it was tonight and it is as dry as it can be!(he is also the one with the electric turbo, all my friends have ridden in it and they say the turbo made a real difference like 2-3 cars)!

Oh, this is the same accord that has the electric turbo. The one who was boosting 6psi. I am sorry, I can't respond to this thread anymore.

as long as you are WOT when the pedal is pressed all the way then thats all you need. any tigher then your putting stess and stretching the cable and thats not good.

How could you see exactly 2.5 feet of black mark left behind you on the street while going 60 mph?

more harm as in stretching the cable and possibly snapping it in half dow to the stress. Like I said, the Butterfly valve in the TB can only open so much, WOT is as open as it can get
