I work at Circuit City, and this customer comes in and starts *****ing at us about how we broke his seat putting a TV in his car. After he is done *****ing we agree to fix his seat for him. He goes out...comes back in...and says his car won't start. Me, being the good samaritan, goes and gets my Max to give him a jump, since I was the only one in the store with cables. After I give him a jump, He backs out...AND HITS MY CAR! But when he hit it he didn't stop. I have a huge scrape down the rear passenger door, and a huge dent in the rear fender. SO then his car dies again. I get all his info and go to a body shop to get an estimate for his insurance. It will cost just under a thosand to fix everything.

Guess thats what I get for doing the right thing...

Since you were so nice, do what orgasmicNYC and get the most expensive body shop. If you have any other problems w/ your car around that area of the car, charge that too.

 

Get pain and suffering damages too! when my accord got wrecked i got 500 in pain and suffering. I'll tell ya, I was in so much pain that i had to go from a 91 accord to a 97 max 5 speed

I wasn't in my car when it got hit. I pretty much watched it happen. And I did go to the best body shop in town. His insurance is going to cut me a check for a little under a thousand. Should I stick with the best body shop I went to to get it fixed? Or should I go some where else so I can pocket the rest of the money?

but yes if i were you just go to the best
pocketing money is cool but only when it warrants it, driving around in a not-so-good-as-it-used-to-look maxima doesnt warrant it.

 

Wait a sec... you give him a jumpstart and then he backs up into your car? Whenever I jumpstart a car it's nose-to-nose or side-to-side. You must have pretty long jumper cables to reach the battery from behind!

What a complete a$$hole that guy was. Definitely make sure you get your work done by the best autobody shop around.

I'm assuming it was a nose to nose jumpstart, then the other guy goes to the side and does like a 3 point turn and then backs into the max.

You should probably just have the shop fix the car and bill the insurance company, so if anything costs more, you won't have to worry about your own pocket.


when I had my car in the body shop, I just happened to touch up all the dings on my hood, and they clear coated it for me which blended it real nice.

Well no...I pulled up beside him. When he was backing out he didn't back straight out...he just turned. So the front of his car hit the side of mine.
