oxygen sensor removal 99 maxima

I am trying to replace my front right 02 sensor myself.
I have the Chiltons book but it does not explain how to remove the electrical harness (the plastic plug to engine) from the steel holder. I was able disconnect the two plugs from each other by pushing the tab at the bottom and pulling out, but I can't take the plug off that steel holder. And once this plug is off, do you cut off all those plastic tabs with a box cutter/utility knife?

Yeah you cut off the old tabs stuck about 3/4 cause the new 02 sensor tabs will go in the same place securing the wire.I used a combo of thin pliers and philis to pop off the tabs.I dont remember exactly but i think off the steel holder just trying pulling up hard off the steel holder.
