Replacing trunk lid in spring
Well, I have decided to replace my trunk lid. I have a 96 SE with 87K on it. I noticed a little bit of rust around inner driver's side spoiler feet on my trunk lid this fall. Well, I took out the grey carpet and it is eating its way from the inside out. Evidently, water somehow made its way past the gasket on the trunk lid and sat and has been eating up the metal slowly. I was going to just fix the spot but then I looked at the passenger's side. It is beginning to do the same thing. So I am going to purchase a new trunk lid WITHOUT spoiler holes. I don't want this problem repeating itself in the future. I'm ****ed because my car won't truly be an SE anymore without the spoiler.
