Auto Transaxle question -- where to get filter and copper washer?

I have looked everywhere and searched the board for hours today. I was all ready to change my automatic transmission fluid today... I had already bought the Dextron and all that so I got mad it didn't happen.

My problem is that there are two different modles of transaxles and I don't know which one I have. My Schit-on manual (Chilton) shows two places where the model number is printed, but I have no FREAKIN idea how to actually find it.

The RE4F04- requires the copper gasket to be replaced. (SO WHERE WOULD I BUY THE COPPER GASKET?)

And the RE4F02- which uses filters within the valve body, which is in the transaxle. (SO WHERE DO I BUY THE FILTER?)
NOTE: It also says to replace the drain plug which I can't find anywhere.

I have a '95 automatic GLE, how do I go about finding the model number?

Check the Identification Plate. It's a silver tag attached to the firewall behind the passenger-side strut tower. Can't miss it. It has the transaxle number stamped on the bottom of the tag.
As for where to buy the parts, you could try AutoZone, Advanced Auto, Pep Boys, etc... If all else fails, the dealership would have them or be able to get them (probably for a small fortune compared to the other stores). Also, if you don't have the ID plate for some reason, the dealership can always answer specs about your car based off of the VIN.
