4th Gen McCulloch HID kit 6000k. NEED HELP!

Ok, i installed these things last night, and one bulb didn't work very well... turns on whenever it wants, i switched the bulbs around to test if it was the harness or the bulb and i found out that it was the bulb so i'm gonna have to get a new bulb in that situation, but now i have a bigger problem. My tail lights that are supposed to come on when i turn on my headlights wont come on now! if i press down on the brakes the lights come on, but they wont automatically come on when i turn on the headlights. does anyone have the slightest clue what this could be about? and also, now both my bulbs turn on only when they feel like it :\ i have to sit there turning them on and off to get one side to come on from time to time. The tail light problem was not a problem last night though. they were coming on, but tonight they wouldn't. If anyone has any input on what this could be about, please let me know. e-mail me or IM me or something memei_7@hotmail.com AIM: JMG9816 MSN:memei_7@hotmail.com HELP ME PLEASE

you should also up-grade the headlight fuse.

a small pack of 6 fuses cost about $1.75

you should use 25amp. for the headlights

the max use the small color fuses

I have the same kit, brand and everything. I love the HIDs. When I put them in I had no problem at all. My fuses are fine. At the beginning one light would flicker and stuff, but that was caused by a loose wire which was fixed in less than one second. Everythign has been fine so far no problems, and I love it. I dont know if I should change/upgrade the fuses. You are the first case where I hear some1 complain about their HIDs and their fuses.

Okay, I figured I'd tag onto this post since it already had people posting in it. But I just installed the McCulloch 5300K on my 2K1 and I finally figured that you had to turn the high beams on to turn on the headlights, but now when I turn on the high beams, my fog lights won't turn on at the same time. Anybody know how to correct this and is there a way to have the headlights come on the regular way, without having to turn on the high beams?

Do you have any idea what wires are crossed up? The only rewiring i did was running the fogs with the parking lights a couple of months ago.

Well in my 4th gen, when it came stock...the fogs would turn off when the high beams went on. there are 3 wires behind the stock harness, you could have connected the high beam wire instead of the low beam wire by accident.

Okay, after to talking to a couple of folks I realize that when the high beams come on the fogs go off. That's suppose to happen. But why is it that my HIDs only come on when I turn on the high beams? When I did the foglight mod, I didn't touch the headlights. The headlights were fine before I put in the HIDs. I think something is wrong with the two prongs that plug into the socket from the car. I'm gonna go take a pic. I'll be right back...

Okay here is are the prongs in this socket thing. Does this look right to you guys? I'm plugging this directly into the female part that comes from the car. Is this my problem?

Okay, I fixed my little problem. Just as D1NOnly34 said, my wires were a little crossed up. The black wire should go to the middle and the white to the right, nothing on the left. Just for future reference, in case someone should happen to have the same problem. Thanks guys for your help.
