Intake midpipe question

Ok I could not see buying a midpipe when I had a polished aluminium intake off a honda that I could cut down and use. So this is my question. The intake has two inlets on it, the first is a 1/4" that I easily adapted to the small small tube that went to my old intake.(sorry i can't rattle off some cool jargon to specify which one that is, but I am sure all of you know what I am talking about.) The second is a 1/2 inch inlet perfect sive for the hose going to the intake manifold. So here is what I am unsure about, socan I take the other aprox. 1/2" hose going to my valve cover( and yes I do know what that one is for) and T it into the hose going to the intake manifold? Cause I don't have one of those nifty 'lil filters to put on my valve cover. I have already done this and it runs great, just wondering if it will cause me any trouble in the future.
on a side note the polished aluminium pipe looks great, and now the car breaks traction badly in first at about 4000 rpm from a rolling start under WOT.

What about the air temperature sensor? What did you do with that? Also, the key component here is the part that bolts up to the MAF Sensor that you slip the cone filter onto. If you don't have any fitment problems or leaks you should be fine. I don't know about the T junction. That is where the valve cover is supposed to get filtered air from for the PCV system, so airflow will be from the midpipe to thw valve cover, the air goes through the crankcase and out the PCV valve.

Maybe I should had mentioned that I already had a JWT popcharger. The only difference in my setup is that the two 1/2" outlets which went to my minifold and to my valve cover are merged into one. also this is probably just till tomorrow when I go to the performance shop and get a finter to go on my valve cover.

Just put a breather filter where the hose from the valve cover was.

But what did you do with the Air Temp Sensor? If that's not in the airflow, I assume its just chillin under your hood somewhere? It may not be as accurate, but it shoudl still work fine.

Otherwise, it seems you should be fine with your setup.

there were only 3 lines 2 1/2 inch and 1 aprox 1/8 hose, the smaller hose had a conection on the intake. no prob with that. Maybe I am missing something. everything that I took loose is connected.
