can intake help in high speed(120 mph-up)
hi there...well heres the question, my friend has in his maxima a frankencar intake, before intalled, we try to get the maxima 1995 SE automatic, at high speed, we were going at 127 mph. Then we came back to the garage to install the intake, and later night goes again to proof...the car increase speed but in down speed(i mean 0-60 i guess) it notice some HP and a good loud. But we were again at the freeway...and the high speed that we got was the same 127 mhp.
the intake is just for low speed? and startin??? i mean 0-60 or what happen at high speed (120 mph-up) and high rpms.?

not sure exactly what you're asking for here, but the intake won't do all that much performance wise.
resonators from the stock airbox are removed, so it gets louder.
i don't know why you're looking at the top speed of the car, that shouldn't change, only acceleration would change with an intake, and even that wouldn't be too noticable.
