I don't know if I'm wrong but I think it's 6 1/2" is it ?..

Actually, it's 6-1/2 S. The "S" is for oversized speaker. A 6-1/2" speaker will still fit though, although 6-1/2 fits perfectly without an adapter.

Hey guys, about that 6 1/2s, isnt that the same size as 6 3/4? I need to toss my factory speakers (which is my only grunt with nissan - they blow!!!), and I decided to go with either Rockford Fanatic Q components, or Diamond Audio Components, both in 6 3/4 trim. I was told by an audio dealer this wouldnt be a problem, and that they would fit perfectly. Crutchfield lists the size as 6 1/2s, so what should I do? Buy 6 3/4 or 1/2s??

6 1/2 will fit flush 6 3/4 you might have to modify it to fit.

You just want to make sure the holes in the speakers line up with the holes in the door. I got polk 6 1/2 ex series and they didn't fit, i returned them and got 6 1/2 polk dx series and they fit perfect. Just remember to bypass the amps in the front doors.

Crutchfield says the 3/4" will fit so I would feel safe with that.
