problem taking off my rear drivers side wheel

i wanted to see how my new rims looked on my car and i put the front drivers side wheel on .. no problem .. looks awesome .. i lower the car and put the jack by the rear tire .. i then realize i only have 4 lug nuts on (i realized it a while ago, but i forgot about it) i take off the 4 lug nuts and i notice that the tire doesn't move and it won't come off .... the wheel is rusted on ... is there any way to get it off?

Get a soft rubber malot hammer and a rag. Jack up your car and put it on jack stands high enough that you can get underneath it with some arm room. Place/secure the rag on the rubber malot and hit the inside portion of the tire. In other words, hit the tire on the inside part of the vehicle that you cannot see. Keep rotating the wheel as you do this and Wala, it will come off.....

I have a rubber mallot for issues like that. Every now and them I'll kick the tires loose too.

Kicking is good. probably better than mallet. just don't hurt your foot.

same thing happened when a friend and myself were changing the brake pads on my car.
took all the lugs off, but the wheel was stuck.
after a lot of kicking, and pulling, nothign happened.
then my friend pryed the rim, from the brake caliper, and it came off very easily.
