5 spd would b a good start for one with less drivetrain loss. B-pipe, exhaust, ecu, mevi would all help, but it'll take more for us auto's....feel free to chime in n e time guys

No one... closest I've heard of is 193hp, and that's on a 5spd. You are certainly going to need every bolt on, especially MEVI, JWT ECU, and cams to get there. I doubt even those things would get an automatic there, unless the cams give really incredible gains. BE prepared to spend about $4000 in your quest for 200hp all motor

i thought:

1) There was no difference in HP between auto and 5-spd. And any difference would be to small to make a real difference.

2) Isn't the stock HP of 4th gen's 190HP? So technically, the intake alone should put you at roughly 200HP right there...

From the .org faq:

The Y-pipe by itself will make about 5-10hp at the wheels. To get the most out of the y-pipe, you REALLY do want to get a highflow intake of some sort. Whereas the intake will make about 3-5hp by itself and the y-pipe 5-10hp, the combination has been dyno'd to produce 20hp at the wheels

so you should be at 200-210HP right there

He wants 200hp at the wheels. Not 200hp at the crank.

We'll leave it at that.

difference between 5spd and auto hp at the crank is none. at the wheels, there is some difference because of the manual tranny's efficiency.

With an HKS intake, MEVI, Stillen B-pipe, UDP, and WSP non-mandrel Y-pipe, got me 189fwhp and 186fwtq on my 96 SE 5 speed. I've now got a 2001 muffler, but I put my stock B-pipe back on (I like quiet). The JWT ECU would probably get me within a few HP of 200 fwhp.
