I've been wanting to do this since I bought the car, but never got around to figuring out how to do it. Now that I know, I can't wait till I get some free time.

However, when following these instructions:

If you're talking of the 97-99 corner lens rewire where the bulb stays bright, then its a trick question. Both of the wires are the hot wire. One tip is for the 8 watt filament (factory in 97-99) the other (left unattached in 97-99) is for the 27 watt filament. If you simply disconnect the 8 watt filament lead on the bottom of the socket and resolder it to the 27 watt nipple, the you'll get the bright corner lights. Hop ethis helped. Better than I had hoped. I already knew the physics behind how to do it, I just wanted to know the colours so that I wouldn't need to use a multitester to figure out which wire was which. But with the full instructions too, I now have even more confidence.
