Installed Frankencar yesterday and I'm VERY happy

My Frankencar Intake arrived yesterday and I installed it last night. Before, I had just a K&N cone filter with a MAF adapter (not a velocity stack). The Frankencar sounds very good. Much smoother sound than before and a little less noisy. The midpipe looks great. I'd like to add a velocity stack in the future, but I'm not in any rush. Anyway, I give a big thumbs up to the Frankencar for performance, looks, sound, price, and ease of installation.

How long did it take to arrive after ordering?

I ordered it on Dec. 26th and it arrived on Jan 8th (two weeks). Not too bad considering the holidays.

Just asking because I orderd mine a couple days after christmas and it still has not arrived. Maybe the Apexi filters are on back order?? I have not heard from Scott at Frankencar since my last email 5 days ago. No big deal though.

Just keep emailing them. That's all you can really do. I ordered mine with a K&N filter, so maybe that made it quicker. According to their website, the Apexi filters are in stock, but that may be a bunch of BS.

Scott at Frankencar was real good about replying to emails before I orderd, anwsering questions and what not. He said he was holding the filter for me so I hope it's not back orderd. I am not real concerned, but I would like an update on the shipping status.

I emailed Steve (steve@frankencar.com) and gave him my transaction number from PayPal and my shipping address. He replied to me within a couple days.

I ordered my intake on the 26th of December and recieved it on the 8th of Jan. I finally got an email back from Scott about a week later who told me my intake was being shipped out the next day. I got it 3 days later, so all in all about 2 weeks.

What would a velocity stack do for someone with Frankencar intake?

The surface area of the filter is quite large and the CNC milled stack theoretically provides smoother, greater flow.

Mike, he'll get to you. He had dinner with me and my family last night and he was telling me how busy things were with new parts and getting a warehouse to work out of. Things are moving fast for the fella.

I wonder where my intake is... All i've heard is how you all have received yours within 2 weeks... Mine is going to near 2 months on the 30th... I sent an e-mail to Steve and no reply for a few days... He said a while ago halfway through December that he already sent them out a couple of days ago, yet they're still not here...

Like I said before, no big deal. I just go out of town a lot and get worried about packages sitting on my front door.
