This has happened to me twice in the three weeks I've had my 96 SE. I park the car in my driveway - lock it with the remote and get the parking light acknowledgement. I'll come out the next morning and each of the front two windows is rolled exactly halfway down!!! I know about the window rolldown feature so I am always extra careful to not touch the unlock button while the remote is in my pocket, etc.. Anyone else ever notice this??

I'm thinking you may accidently hold down the unlock button at some point

I'm having a similar issue. I leave my car in my garage and enter my house. The next morning the car is locked, but I didn't lock it. However, if I leave the keys in the car on the passenger seat, everything is fine. I think the button might be pressed in your pocket, or someone wants to have fun and push the remote buttons (like all my friends).

I'm pretty sure it was not done on accident. I've played with the feature some and depending on how long you hold down the unlock button they will come down a proportional distance. Both times my windows were 1/2 way down. To do that you'd have to unlock the doors and then hold down the unlock for just the right amount of time- seems like that'd be hard to do on accident - twice.

Something else. It is possible to roll down your windows without unlocking your doors. It is not an intentional feature, but occasionally I press the unlock button on my remote and the windows roll down but the doors do not unlock. I unlocked the door by reaching through the open window and the alarm went off. Yet another one of those odd Maxima quirks.

Yeah that same thing happened to me and when the alram went off I tried turnin on my car to turn off the alarm but when it started the alarm was still on and the radio came on with the car. Then the next day my system didn't work. All kinds of funny stuff that happens with maxs.
