Mystery Window Rolldown!!!!!
This has happened to me twice in the three weeks I've had my 96 SE. I park the car in my driveway - lock it with the remote and get the parking light acknowledgement. I'll come out the next morning and each of the front two windows is rolled exactly halfway down!!! I know about the window rolldown feature so I am always extra careful to not touch the unlock button while the remote is in my pocket, etc.. Anyone else ever notice this??
I'm thinking you may accidently hold down the unlock button at some point
I'm having a similar issue. I leave my car in my garage and enter my house. The next morning the car is locked, but I didn't lock it. However, if I leave the keys in the car on the passenger seat, everything is fine. I think the button might be pressed in your pocket, or someone wants to have fun and push the remote buttons (like all my friends).

Something else. It is possible to roll down your windows without unlocking your doors. It is not an intentional feature, but occasionally I press the unlock button on my remote and the windows roll down but the doors do not unlock. I unlocked the door by reaching through the open window and the alarm went off. Yet another one of those odd Maxima quirks.
Yeah that same thing happened to me and when the alram went off I tried turnin on my car to turn off the alarm but when it started the alarm was still on and the radio came on with the car. Then the next day my system didn't work. All kinds of funny stuff that happens with maxs.
I had a problem like this too...
I came home at night on dec 31 and the when i woke up the next day (jan 1) at 3pm or so, the windows were open, there was puke everywhere and someone was passed out in the trunk. I don't know how it happened, the car just does wierd things sometimes

the range on my remote is incredible... I can be in the basement where I work and unlock my car which is outside on the other side of the parking lot... that is a long way... what do you do with your keys at night?

I keep flashing my lights when I'm walking away just to see my Polarg Hyper Whites. Yea, I'm a loser.
