toyo oroxy fz-4---- any good

in the spring i will be putting the 17" rims back on the car, they need tires badly so i plan on getting some. my tire guy says the toyo proxy ts-1 and toyo proxy fz-4 are good tires not that expensive. i drove on the kumhos and didn`t like them any help would be cool
thanks

I had fz-4's on the rear of my MR2 and they only lasted around 17k miles. But then again rear tires were a problem with the second generation MR2's.

Don't get the FZ4's, there are better tires out there for the
money. Look into the Sumotomo HTR+, HTRZ2, Yokohama ES100.

i used to have the ts-1's on my integra just a month ago on some 16inch wheels.

decent tire but i'd rather get a set of kumho's. i've had kumho's on my old prelude, my integra now and really can't tell much of a difference.

The new Toyo Proxes T1-S is one of the best high performacne tires you can get.

Kumhos...not so much...

I'd agree with 975spEEd on FZ4s. I don't like them in the wet due to poor traction. I'm considering ES100's once they come into Canada.
